We approached Scott to come and work at CCF when we opened a new branch, and the rest is history. He enjoys all the benefits that come with working in a big company. Here’s his story:
“I got my HGV license at 20 while serving in the army”
Scott was trained to drive a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) from a young age and has used this training to build a career. He originally worked as a warehouseman and was promoted to HGV driver by demonstrating that he was a competent worker and conscious of the Health and Safety regulations.
“My favourite thing about working at CCF is my Monday to Friday schedule, and the people”
Having a regular routine allows Scott to spend time outside of work with the people that he loves. When he is at work Scott enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life. While a Driver job might seem like it can be a solitary profession he gets to chat with people throughout the day whilst he fills out paperwork and checks over his vehicle.
“When I’m not at work I’m either watching the football, walking the dogs, or spending time with my granddaughter”
Scott has a young granddaughter who he loves to spend time with at weekends. He enjoys a very active lifestyle and watching sports.
