Assistant Digital Marketing Manager

We’re currently recruiting for a Digital Assistant Marketing Manager to join us at our Travis Perkins P&H Head office in Crick.

Reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager, you will own the execution of the channel specific strategies designed to drive high quality trade focused traffic to our Plumbing & Heating websites.

This is an exciting role within our digital marketing team; you’ll have accountability for all online performance with regards to their specific channels and therefore it is imperative to have up to date knowledge around industry best practices and changes to ensure that our 
multi channel work will not leave us lagging behind google changes or our competitors.

Your key accountabilities will include: 

- Own the management and execution of online marketing channels in order to deliver high quality traffic to relevant journeys online, capable of converting at a level that will help achieve our sales budget
- Consider relevant channels and journeys for both trade and retail customers to support the City Plumbing and Bathroom Showroom sites, using segmentation and personalisation wherever possible
- Communicate objectives to, monitor the delivery of,  and report on the performance of third party agencies employed to help execute our online strategy
- Work with the online trading team to ensure that we deliver campaigns to effectively meet category targets and accurately represent our products and promotions
- Deliver all campaigns on time and within budget
- Apply a consistently high level of communication and knowledge to resolve all day-to-day administrative and key operational issues, i.e. customer problem resolution, implementation schedules.
- Provide recommendations to management for marketing optimisation and to highlight revenue driving opportunities through new and existing channels.
- Constantly say ahead of industry best practice and trends, ensure this knowledge is reported back to the team
- Develop, upskill and mentor the online marketing assistants

What we're looking for: 

- Stakeholder management experience across numerous departments
- Proven experience in digital marketing roles
- Paid media, SEO, Email, Affiliates and Management
- Working in a trading environment with multiple stakeholders and tight timeframes (Preferred)
