Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Business Analytics team in Finance. As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for the analysis and interpretation of Toolstation’s significant and fast growing data store. Reporting to the Business Analytics Manager, you will be creating, developing and maintaining a portfolio of data analysis projects and reporting solutions, which are crucial in driving business impact from analytics.

Day-to-day

Analysing - It goes without saying that this role will involve a strong level of analysis and data management.  You’ll be using analysis to develop actionable insight and communicate in a way that will influence stakeholders across the business. Management of data projects from beginning to end to achieve the business’ objectives across all functions in the organisation

Comercial - Monitoring of product performance and trends to identify opportunities and risk. Leveraging data to support commercial decisions, including price positioning, competitor analysis and promotional opportunities

Customer Insight  - You’ll be providing key analytical insight to drive the emerging Customer Insight function to be at the heart of key commercial and business wide priorities. Additionally interpretation of customer behaviours to improve marketing strategies and segmentation models
