What you'll do
We have a brand new vacancy to join our Digital & Ecommerce team as a Paid Search Manager. This is an exciting opportunity within a new and growing team for Toolstation.
Hybrid - working from home and also within one of our HUB Head office locations Bridgwater, Northampton or London.
As the Paid Search manager your main objective is to drive performance for the channel, working alongside agency partners to develop and execute effective paid search strategies. Key responsibilities will include target setting & budget management working with Finance and our agency to determine optimal activity levels and how to maximise revenue and profit. Stakeholder management, working within a cross-functional team to develop and optimise performance for products and categories in the short run, whilst also planning and executing trade and big bet campaigns. Finally, your reporting will provide regular and timely measurement with analysis to indicate how best to further enhance performance
What you'll bring
Day to Day
Responsible for working with our agency partners to plan, manage and optimise paid search campaigns (including Search, Shopping, Performance Max and Demand Gen campaigns).
Working closely with cross functional teams to plan, execute and measure different campaigns for consistency through the line. You’ll share performance updates and learnings to continually develop the quality of Toolstation campaigns. You’ll also work alongside developers to implement tracking and designers to create assets supporting varied campaign types.
Manage and allocate budget across campaigns to achieve maximum return on investment.
Report and analyse performance for products, categories, formats and platforms through analytics across platforms like Search ads 360, Google Merchant Centre & Google analytics.
Test implement A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies to identify high performing areas of the account as well as ad copies, landing pages and targeting criteria.
Is this you?
To be successful in this role you will have hands-on PPC expertise, particularly in Shopping and Performance Max and ideally google accreditations. You’ll remain consistently informed and up to date on industry trends to identify new opportunities.
You will come from a similar role as a Paid Search Manager. Most importantly you will be a team player, innovative, self starter and have the ability to work between multiple tasks.
