We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Travis Perkins IT Department as a key member of the team working on the largest transformation programme ever undertaken within the Travis Perkins group - replacing our core legacy platform with a modern ERP solution.

The role we're recruiting for will:

• Understand the programme structure and migration plans for our ERP programme, acting as a bridge between the programme and the technical teams
  

• Manage a diverse group of stakeholders to fully understand and help align their needs and, if appropriate, conduct workshops to provide further clarification
  

• Drive collaboration across all areas of IT to facilitate shared understanding & ownership, identifying dependencies within a complex change portfolio
  

• Work closely with a development team practicing scrum, ensuring the adopted values of Agile development are upheld.
  

• Elicit and manage requirements (captured as User Stories), ensuring acceptance criteria are at the right level of detail through collective refinement of the backlog.

• Operate autonomously, managing their workload and timescales to meet the needs of their teams, applying appropriate business analysis techniques as required.

It would be great if you had:

• 5+yrs experience as a practicing Business Analyst, using core skills of process mapping, stakeholder engagement, requirements elicitation and management and a range of communication styles.
  

• Experience working within a large transformation programme involving the migration of multiple systems that impact both Business and IT processes.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with sound behavioural & interaction skills that enable relationships and trust to be developed quickly across stakeholder levels.
  

• The ability to influence and motivate others, using your previous experience and industry insight to constructively challenge the status quo - bringing new ideas and approaches to the delivery and BA teams.

• An open mindset to change and transformation, with a genuine commitment to continuous improvement and reflection on lessons learned.
  

• Working knowledge of Google software
