Category Manager (Electrical) - P&H Division

Location: Crick, NN6 7SL

If the answer is yes then Travis Perkins plc are currently recruiting for a Category Manager for our Electrical Category within the Plumbing and Heating Division.  Realise your potential with a company built on great people and the very best products.

The role:

As a Category Manager you’ll enjoy a diverse role and be comfortable with a non fixed pricing category. You will be responsible for  supporting the implementation of products, driving innovation of new products, influencing the trading margin and mix - and supporting the wider Commercial Strategy in growing and managing our product base and business performance. 

You will own the delivery of the Category strategies as aligned to the corporate strategy. You will review the Category Pricing strategy and ensure alignment to the market by building a fact base on our customers, competitors & market.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience within the retail &/or Trade markets, where you can show evidence of category/account growth through critical analysis and opportunity development. You will be highly numerate, have influencing and negotiating skills and be able to demonstrate your drive, enthusiasm and continuous improvement outlook.
