Commercial Analyst

This opportunity provides great insight into all the businesses across the Travis Perkins group, and you will play an important role in supporting the commercial performance through delivery of a cost reduction programme. This includes analysis of category spend & performance, market dynamics and supplier performance. Ultimately, you’ll be making a real difference in finding profit opportunities!

You will also play a key role in bringing our businesses together by actively supporting collaboration so we can improve our product sourcing, customer proposition and category profitability

You’ll be responsible for:

• Collects supplier performance data (KPI’s/SLA’s/OLA’s) and investigates problem

• Monitor and report on supplier performance, customer satisfaction and validate supplier performance is in accordance with contract terms.

• Providing preliminary findings and/or recommendations to Commercial and Business Stakeholders

• Managing and attending key Supplier performance meetings with Business Units to develop ongoing partnerships with identified key suppliers by validating and developing supplier performance plans and building account strategies.

• Preparing pre-qualification questionnaires and tender invitations in response to business cases.

• Owning and managing regular reporting for use in commercial e.g. budget reporting, spend analysis, Supplier Performance

• Managing and evolve tracking documents to provide accurate data for use within and outside the team

• Proficient in Purchase to Payment ordering systems and procedures to support GTS and the wider business.

What do I need to have?

Ideally experience in either a buying, commercial or commercial finance setting combined with excellent analytical and problem solving skills. You’ll also need to be confident at communicating with key stakeholders and influence across different levels of the business. Finally, we need you to be confident in using Google suite
