We are looking for individuals with a desire to increase their profile and deliver our new finance system.  It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and career, while being at the heart of a fundamental step forward for the Travis Perkins Group.
 
We have an opportunity for a Controls manager to join the Finance Modernisation team on a 18 month contract working closely with the Group Financial Controls Manager and each business unit across the group to ensure efficient controls are designed and successfully implemented within and at the integrations of the Oracle cloud finance solution. The role is based in Northampton. 
 
What you’ll do

Reporting into the Controls lead, this is an excellent opportunity to help improve the control environment within Finance, helping pave the way as TP heads towards a more stringent controls framework. You will have regular exposure to senior stakeholders and excellent visibility within the business.
 
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Defining future controls in conjunction with the finance teams across the group 
- Day to day running of your stream on the project, from design to implementation
- Building the plan for implementation of the new system in conjunction with business resource
- Being a key point of contact for your Workstream on the project
- Flagging and working to resolve gaps and issues

To be considered, you’ll need experience of managing stakeholders, a good understanding of finance and controls, and the desire to assess and remediate risks for the finance operations of the business..
