Are you looking for a opportunity to expand on your Credit Control experience? Are you looking for a opportunity to join a dynamic and passionate team? If so we may have the opportunity that you are looking for.


We are currently looking to recruit a Cash Allocation Clerk to join the the Plumbing & Heating team in Birmingham. This is a excellent opportunity to develop your skills as part of a passionate team -   Your role will be to provide excellent customer service by assisting the Credit Control Department in maintaining tight procedures.

Our strategy focuses on nurturing what already makes us great, while building plans to differentiate our customer offer and continuing to develop expertise, range and delivering a great service to make it easier for customers to do business with us.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Daily posting and allocation of Bacs/Cheques payments


  • Loggings of remittances/confirmations branch payments


  • Open, distribute and send outgoing post


  • Chasing of missing remittances/allocation queries


  • Take card payments as required


  • General office admin eg: copy invoices, pods, statements, new accounts


  • Answer incoming calls as required and deal with appropriately


  • Additional responsibilities if required to cover holiday and sickness


  • Cash Sales


To be considered for this role, you will have some experience of credit control. You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to develop strong client relationships, both internally and externally. You will excellent time management and customer service skills, combined with the motivating and drive to succeed. More than anything, we’re looking for someone who is willing to go above and beyond, in order to succeed.
