Head of Strategic Development - Major Infrastructure Projects


A new role and a great opportunity within our Keyline Business! Are you looking for a new commercial opportunity? Are you skilled in aligning with customers, contractors and partners focusing on Major Infrastructure Projects across the UK? Can you help us build our proposition by building visionary market insight and frameworks to enable us to be ahead of our competition at every step of the way. 


The types of project sectors we’re thinking about are major infrastructure/civil engineering projects such as Highways, Rail, Industrial Building and Utilities etc….. Think big! 


We’re looking for someone that can help us build relationships (you may already have them) and help us to work more closely with contractors to understand and engage with them through major project life cycles, preferably right at the beginning, we’re keen to get ahead of the game.

  • Building your own team and the autonomy to shape it the way you want too.
  • Working with high profile major contractors in a commercial capacity.
  • Building a framework that will provide future insights and project pipelines.
  • Work quickly to understand what major projects across Road, Rail, Infrastructure & Industrial are up for tender. You may already have an ear to the ground.
  • Use your knowledge around the government playbook to help us align our strengths to each proposition and project. 
  • We want you to shape this opportunity and make it your own, while developing our capability across a range of sectors.

    • Who are we looking for?


    You will be working in a Senior Contracts, National Accounts, Strategic Contracts Management type of role. More than likely with titles such as National Contract Manager, Commercial Projects Director, Commercial Director, National Accounts Manager, Head of Project Development.


    You will be a strategic leader and thinker with a commercial focus and strong customer understanding, being able to drive business growth, collaborate through operational excellence to make a real difference to the bottom line. You will be passionate about adding value within the role and show the potential to further your career within our group.
