What you'll do

A field based role, with weekly travel requirements to our Retail and Distribution networks Nationwide as well as occasional visits to our Head Office in Bridgwater, Somerset.

You’ll be key to driving the success forward, supporting our Learning and Development Manager, Coordinating & delivering learning and development across all areas of the business; providing a credible and professional service for all Toolstation colleagues.

Delivering. You'll be working with the L&D Manager to deliver Management Development Training sessions either virtually or face to face & produce meaningful evaluation that demonstrates the ROI of the training interventions.

Supporting. Managing and administering all Toolstation training related systems including the Learning Management System. You’ll be the go to for resolving any training queries raised making sure they are resolved in a timely manner, to ensure excellent customer service. You'll also be supporting our growing apprenticeship programs, by engaging in regular apprenticeship meetings to promote or communicate the programs to the business

Building Relationships. You’ll work with the wider L&D and HR teams to ensure all onboarding documentation is kept up to date and ensure our colleagues have access to all the appropriate content.


What you'll bring

Technology. You’ve got previous experience working with various systems and data. You’re a dab hand with IT and are comfortable using Google sheets/Excel. 

Communication. You communicate clearly, confidently and articulately, making sure you show conviction to any audience.

Planning and Organising. Able to use your own initiative and always looking for things to do, you’re able to juggle multiple work loads and still deliver fantastic service. 

Detail. With a keen eye for detail, you are thorough in your work and make sure it is to a high standard ensuring minimal mistakes. 

Hard work and passion. You’re dedicated when it comes to doing a great job and are passionate about collaboration.
