We, at Travis Perkins, have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Direct Hire - Sales Supervisor to join our collaborative and Direct Hire Team.  In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running and supervision of our Direct Hire Team, by supporting and managing the colleagues in the team.  You will possess drive, passion and enthusiasm which will enable you to deliver the service that BSS prides itself upon. Your team are the main points of contact for our customers and will  manage all enquiries. You will develop and motivate your team in maximising sales opportunities whilst providing our customers with the highest possible level of service.

Alongside the above you will also be responsible for:

• Proven experience within a similar role

• Managing 2 direct reports, monitoring performance against KPIs

• Manage absence and holidays for the team members

• Ensuring that all Customer/Branch enquiries and orders are processed quickly and efficiently

• Maximizing margin enhancement opportunities on orders and quotes

• Supporting non workshop branches

• Liaising with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing

• Working with Magna Workshop to ensure assets are sent out to branches on time

• POS/Process support for the Branches

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous Tool Hire experience would be beneficial

• Ability to meet and exceed targets

• Strong IT skills

• Self­ motivated, enthusiastic, organised and confident

• Good numerical skills
