Here at Travis Perkins plc, we are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our large and diverse Purchase Ledger Accounts Team.


Based at our Head Office Campus on Lodge Farm in Northampton, you will contribute to our effective operation by ensuring suppliers are paid in line with negotiated terms therefore making certain that the supply of goods and services are never suspended across our 20+ businesses and network of 2000+ sites.


As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will process and reconcile invoices and credits on our purchase ledger system, accurately maintain supplier information and payment details, and respond to queries by phone and email from a range of sources that includes suppliers, branches and other head office teams.


Whilst previous experience is not essential, you must be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of accounting principles, proficient excel skills, a high attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to organise and prioritise and excellent communications skills.  It is also important that you are a team player, logical, and can work on your own initiative in a fast paced environment.
