Job Description

Our People Agenda at Travis Perkins is ever growing as we strive to recruit and retain the best Diverse Talent on the market and we are now looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition to join our TP Family and lead our in house Resourcing Team.     

As Head of Talent Acquisition you will play a vital role in transforming and improving our Employee Value Proposition in order to ensure our continued success as a business. You’ll support a high performing team of internal Recruiters to transition from a reactive recruitment model to a model that improves the experience of candidates and Hiring Managers and attracts the best Talent.

What will I be doing?

Working for our newly appointed Director of Talent & Organisation Development you will have the task of leading the Talent Acquisition Strategy for the Group, establishing Talent Acquisition as the foundation for Talent Mobilisation in the business. This will involve:

- Introducing workforce planning with the aim of improving the quality of Hires and supporting the achievement of business strategy
- Leading, developing and managing a highly engaged team
- Leading, developing and implementing our Employee Value Proposition
- Leading the Diversity Talent Acquisition Agenda

What experience are we looking for?

- Previous management of an in house Resourcing Function, preferably within a large complex organisation
- An understanding of the technological enablers within the Recruitment Industry
- Previous evidence of leading Transformational change projects
- Evidence of Thought Leadership and Strategy formation in the Recruitment Industry
- Extensive experience building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
