We have a great opportunity to join the HR family at Travis Perkins plc as Head of Talent, Diversity & Inclusion, leading the development and implementation of the Group-wide approach to talent & succession management, diversity & inclusion with a particular emphasis on driving and enduring culture and behavior change as well as workforce capability and sustained performance development.

What you’ll do

As the Head of Talent, Diversity & Inclusion you will design and deliver an integrated talent strategy and framework across the Group. This will include performance management, diversity and inclusion, succession, assessment, development, and onboarding. Pivotal to bringing the talent agenda to life will be equipping leaders and HR leads in identifying, discussing, and calibrating talent and high potential, next-generation diverse leaders and critical role successors. You will be designing and delivering a fit-for-purpose talent cycle including actively leading talent board reviews, developing material to support leaders and HR colleagues, and equipping leaders to have stretching performance and development conversations.

You will set out and deliver against these strong foundations, creating opportunities for colleagues to develop and thrive both personally and professionally; enabling the attraction and retention of diverse talent at all levels across the Group.

Is this you?

To be considered for this role you will need experience within HR and /or Talent and D&I, ideally, you will be CIPD qualified or equivalent. You need to have strong organisation skills, excellent facilitation and communications skills, be a confident and credible influencer with the ability to respectfully challenge or be challenged at all levels. You will also need to be comfortable working with ambiguity, demonstrating the ability to turn data insights and strategy into tangible results-focused outcomes for the business.
