What you'll do
This is a Hybrid role which includes occasional travel to our office in Bridgwater, Somerset.
As a growing business, we’re currently looking to scale up our Digital transformation to deliver on a five year strategy to turn over £1.5bn. You will be influential in shaping our current and future projects to meet the demands of our exciting business. Working in a busy, dynamic, and fast paced IT department; acting as a translator between our project team and stakeholders and responsible for understanding and interpreting the business priorities, problems and opportunities. You'll ensure technical solution designs meet business and customer needs and be instrumental in the successful delivery of projects.
Day-to-day
Relationship Building. Promoting excellent relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues at Project Manager and board level. You will work to develop new and important relationships, encourage discussions, promoting communication and challenging requirements to best achieve business goals.
Managing. Conduct and lead requirement definition and process mapping workshops to turn business opportunities to business requirements, capture as-is and to-be process and document outputs to supplement and inform requirements to effectively manage projects.
Analysing. Drawing from a range of information sources and using different analytical skills and styles, you will assess current business plans, ongoing and future projects and integrity of data to continuously refine and improve systems.
What you'll bring
Experience. You have worked as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced product development organisation before, you rise to a challenge and accept that risk-taking and uncertainty is a norm. Whether its identifying new opportunities to building close relationships to using different approaches to drive out business requirements; the experience you bring will inspire commitment and drive the business forward.
Problem Solver. Using creative, ‘out of the box’ conceptual thinking you will identify patterns, connection, determine root causes and impact of problems that have arisen or can arise. Explore new options, use expertise in policy and procedures and be willing to work in new ways to solve complex problems.
Communication. Whether it is actively seeking customer feedback, leading complex group discussion or writing reports, you will be articulate, persuasive, open and adaptable; able to generate a high level of commitment from others and foster discussion with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Organisation. This role is incredibly busy! This means you’ll need to understand both your own, the teams, and the businesses priorities and then effectively plan and monitor progress to ensure that multiple assignments are delivered successfully.
