We, at Travis Perkins plc have an exciting and varied Employee Relations Advisor opportunity within our engaged Shared Service Employee Relations Team, based in Lodge Farm - Northampton. You will take ownership and be responsible for providing effective, efficient, responsive and commercial Employee Relations advice and support over the phone to all businesses within the Group, with a continuous improvement mindset.

If you have a personal drive and ambition to achieve set standards and deadlines, then this varied opportunity is the next challenge for you to develop your current ER experience and will utilise your CIPD/part CIPD qualification. You’ll need to be passionate in providing a collated service to our colleagues, as this is a multi-site telephone advice role, which includes advising on the following: employment legislation and mediation, TUPE process, producing cases plans for Line Managers to carry out hearings, case manage grievances and appeals together with attending complex cases when required. Your ER knowledge and experience will be further utilised by reviewing and amending company ER policies as legislation requires, whilst working with Business Partners on business critical HR projects; advising on legislation, best practice and identifying/managing risk.

But the variation does not stop there, you’ll also be designing and delivering ER training to upskill and empower line managers, as well as increasing the subject knowledge of colleagues on management development programmes.
