Managed Services- Sector Manager 
Regional
Field based. 
Full Time Mon - Fri

Travis Perkins have a fantastic opportunity to join our Managed Services division of the Travis Perkins Group. Managed Services provide contract solutions for local authorities and the housing community. Providing a bespoke service to suit the needs of the customer. We are geared around bespoke contractual and operational solutions, fitting in with the network or branch facility they are supporting  ( Social Housing and New Build). 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, communicating and delivering an effective strategy for the given sector.
  • Developing,  communicating and delivering a sales strategy (with the support from Marketing) for the given sector.
  • To identify and create supply chain solutions, including product ranges, margin control and service levels incorporating all the Group brands where appropriate.
  • To secure long term contractual agreements (and/or frameworks) with both private and public sector organisations.
  • To engage senior management across the brands as appropriate in order to deliver the necessary sales and margin opportunities
  • To identify and deliver through effective business plans the necessary innovations and processes necessary to become a major supplier to the sector.
  • To assist in the delivery of a process of business development and bidding which has fit for purpose plans, performance metrics and reviews.
  • Responsible for ensuring the achievement of AOP in terms of Sales Turnover and Trading Margin.
  • Ensure a close working relationship with the Operational and Account Management teams to develop the customer journey and secure re-tenders.

Operated successfully in a customer facing role. Achieved significant sales linked targets in a related sales role. Managed a successful sales team. Excellent Communicator, good customer sales skills, Sales Driven. Have the ability to manage a team of, varying abilities ‘‘outside the box’ thinker, Good Negotiator, Sound Commercial Awareness, Good Organise, excellent Presentation skills, Previous Experience in a similar role, have the ability to coach a team and achieve targets.
