We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to join our Head Office team in Watford, and if this sounds like an opportunity for you read on below to find out more...

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the marketing manager with the day to day running of Wickes Point of Sale campaigns. Ensure the end to end process is adhered to from brief to delivery in store

  • Managing the distribution of Point of Sale.  Working with our printer to ensure campaigns are distributed on time and manage the delivery process and communicate out to the wider business

  • Day to day management of requests through team and Store Operations forums.  Working cross functionally with internal teams and suppliers to manage enquiries 

  • Support with the creation of campaign guides for stores to use, working cross-functionally to ensure guide has correct detail from various departments

  • Support the team by organising meetings, preparing presentation content and other ad-hoc requests

  • Raise purchase orders and update relevant budget trackers

  • Work with our print supplier to ensure that all marketing collateral is in stock and reports are run weekly and shared with the team

What are we looking for:

  • Min 1 year experience in Retail marketing or agency (desirable)

  • Graduate 

  • Experience of managing sign off

  • Managing multiple projects

  • Knowledge and understanding of the creative process, artwork and print production

  • Stakeholder management

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Confident, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and broaden skill set

  • Passion for marketing

  • Seizes initiative

  • Sense of initiative and able to self manage

  • Multi-task, and remain calm under the pressure of tight deadlines
