Wickes are currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join us in our Watford head office to focus on our hugely successful Trade area of the business.  

The role will be responsible for leading the activation and implementation of the management and delivery of Core Trade trading communications enabling Wickes to engage with a broader Trade audience and increase sign up to TradePro, brand engagement and advocacy.

Key accountabilities will include;

  • Leading on print and media partnerships and the development of sponsorship assets such as credits, digital display and features.
  • Management of the development of the Trade Communications calendar creating communications that increase engagement and improve ROI
  • Lead the activation of the ‘TradePro’ proposition across all communications channels.  Work with the Direct comms team to ensure email and Direct comms are optimised and work with our CRM strategies
  • Using research, campaign results, media audit and econometrics, drive forward the comms plans ensuring we deploy effective, competitive, customer centric communications

The successful candidate will have a background in Retail Marketing and have a proven track record of management and delivery of a marketing plan, managing budgets, building strong relationships with both external suppliers and internal stakeholders and helping drive our marketing channels to build our audience.
