What you’ll do

As the National Technical Manager you will be responsible for creating and driving a national technical sales plan that maximises sales & profit targets for medium to small contractors. You will offer customers a value-adding technical differential, including a focus on BOSS products, to meet their requirements and harnessing new opportunities to increase market share. You will develop and monitor KPIs that will accurately measure the success of the BSS technical offer, enabling the business to evaluate the return on investment. It is important that you work closely with the Technical & BIM manager to develop the digital design offer to make sure it supports customer needs and offers a value added service. 

Along with the above you will: 
- Ensure there is a clear go to market strategy for the BSS technical offering. 
- Support the regional teams to market the proposition to key customers 
- Provide training for the regional technical sales managers
- Work with commercial teams, suppliers and regional teams to develop the prefab product offer within BSS

Is this you

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent where you gained an engineering qualification. It is important that you have a high level or digital building design knowledge e.g BIM and CAD. You will need to be highly organised and can demonstrate project management skills and a proven ability to develop customer innovation along with a background of Sales team management. With the nature of this role you will need to be a highly effective communicator that feels comfortable with working across multiple functions in order to deliver a programme of work. Along with the above you will need to show a passion for improving customer experience and the hunger to make a difference and drive results. .
