Can you take a holistic view of complex programmes of change within a matrixed organisation and identify the impact of these on people in a simple manner?
Joining us, Travis Perkins plc as a HR Organisational Design, you will be leading and delivering recommendations to the Group for complex organisational structure designs. Gathering data and insight into our current state assessment, models and structures, you will propose design principles and operational modules to benefit the success and progression of the Group. Working closely with the HR Business Partners, together you will validate your findings and analyse the initial capability and where there will be people impact on the business, so that you can then support, coach and influence leaders with transition planning and organisation readiness.
But the variation does not stop there... it’s an exciting time to join us, as we are also currently going through one of the largest technical infrastructure changes within the history of the Group along with undergoing a variety of other transformational programmes throughout our divisions. Change inevitably has an impact on our most important asset, our people. This is where your Organisational Design expertise comes in by taking an analytical approach and posing questions such as ‘what does the business need to achieve?’and ‘what does that mean for our people?’
Taking the lead on OD across our divisions, you’ll be partnering with teams across HR, Change and Business Leads in defining the OD impacts across our Momentum system change programme in order to maximise the effectiveness of our people structures and roles to implement the transformation change. Variety will definitely be abundant as you’ll have the opportunity to work across our Group Head Office, Divisions and Business Units.
The end goal here is to propose a set of interim and final operating model structures for the functions, businesses and divisions to set us up for continued and future success which will be driven by our transformational programmes.
Things you’ll need to know:
We happen to like complexity with the TP Group, so you’ll need to be able to ‘cut through the noise’ to quickly understand what needs to be achieved
We’re looking for expertise within Organisational Design, although if you’ve delivered large scale change programmes that have involved capability management then this role could also be for you
Your relationship building and influencing skills will come into their own as partner and support matrix teams and business leaders
You’ll analysing things such as drivers, FTE, costs, processes, governance, structures etc so if you have a penchant for data and identifying trends then you’ll be feeling at home here
