Operations Auditor job
Location: East and South East Regions.  
Hours of work: 40 hours a week (Monday to Friday)

If you are a forward thinking Assistant Manager or Supervisor who is looking for a role with great career progression then we’d love from you. The Operations Auditor will join our Operational Compliance Support team and will be responsible for the East and South East Regions of the country.  

Sitting within Specialist Businesses, you will be providing independent assurance over the Key Controls in branches. You will be conducting reviews and providing on the job coaching with stakeholders to resolve issues and risks mitigated for the future, whilst being a compliance partner to the Specialist businesses.

The skills and experience developed in this role will give you a great platform to progress to a variety of roles across the Group, including an excellent career path to becoming a Branch Manager, Regional Operations Manager or Senior Operational Compliance Support.  

You’ll be conducting operational reviews in branch, as determined by the Specialist Businesses’s annual review plan. Once the reviews have been completed you will communicate issues identified and influence management to take the best and safest course of action. 

In this role you will be very visible within the business as you will be supporting Branch Managers and the Regional Operations Manager (and where applicable the Regional Director) in executing the action plan to improve branch compliance. You will attend Regional Manager meetings to communicate best practice and current Key Control Review performance.

We are looking for someone to undertake special investigations/projects, as specified by the Projects Finance Manager and report findings to Senior Management.

You will have branch life experience within a multi site business and you will hold a full UK drivers licence. Playing an integral part of Specialist Businesses support network you will be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy, the ability to work under pressure and be able to provide a timely delivery and logical solutions.  It would be ideal if you had a recognised Accounting Qualification (Internal Audit/PIIA or Degree equivalent).
