Do you enjoy analysing and interpreting data? Do you have a great commercial mindset and are looking to build your career with the largest building materials distributor in the country? 

We have an opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our Category Pricing team, based at our Support Centre at Lakeside, Northampton. Providing analytical support to the business and helping to drive the best commercial decisions for our Travis Perkins branches and customers, our Category Pricing team ultimately help improve category profitability and sales.

What you’ll do
With support from the team, you will produce reports which create actionable insight and help to drive improved business performance. You’ll work closely with the Category Pricing Manager and Senior Pricing Analysts to identify and assess, then execute both pricing changes and communication of prices to allow our branches to deliver on their margin and price perception aspirations. As a Pricing Analyst, you will also manage and own all data requirements to deliver price reporting, including competitor matches, Travis Perkins sales and pricing data. 

Is this you?
Ideally, we’d love for you to have experience in a pricing or data analytics environment. You are able to not only work with data, but also understand and interpret data to confidently translate the complex into simple, easy to explain insights. Your keen eye for detail, excellent commercial acumen and ability to always try to spot opportunities will add value and help to improve business performance. It would be beneficial if you had experience using:
  • Advanced Excel
  • SQL
