What you’ll do

Working alongside the Pricing Manager, you will continually review and improve product pricing within BSS in order to aid the Business in maximising sales and profit. You will produce proactive analysis to ensure effective delivery of pricing behaviours and market intelligence to identify opportunities for Sales and Margin improvement. You will also identify solutions and escalate where appropriate to do so.

Along with the above you will - 

- Maintain Pricing Reports that are used to assist the Sales & operations teams to identify opportunities. 
- Work with our Group IT and Business Intelligence teams to resolve problems. 
- Support the Commercial Teams in the use of Price scraping technologies 
- Ownership and followup of pricing feedback from the Sales and Operations team to further enhance future pricing performance.
- Ensuring that Price Guidance and other Pricing Quality Matrices are actively reviewed

Is this you?

We are looking for individuals who have a statistical or mathematical background teamed with commercial awareness and a passion for data.
You will be given early responsibility and your analytical and numerical skills will not only be put to the test, you will actually see the positive commercial impact you make on the business from day one.
An understanding of drivers of profitability is key, along with a focus on high quality work and advanced excel (v lookups, pivot tables, charts and formulas)SQL, Google Data Studio and other analytical packages
