We, Travis Perkins have a exciting and varied Pricing Specialist opportunity to join our Managed Services Team in Lakeside - Northampton. This opportunity will enable you to take full ownership in completing all pricing and price reviews, including: completion of tenders, customer price reviews, recommending changes to customer catalogues, and the development of a clear and consistent product and pricing approach.

We provide contract solutions for local/public authorities and the housing community, and for us to do this means we need to provide a seamless bespoke service to suit their needs and deadlines for completion. We are geared around bespoke contractual and operational solutions to support our customers requirement and the continous growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and complete tender pricing to ensure all pricing documents are completed and accurate.

- Ensure all quotations are accurately raised on our internal database.

- Analyse and review current customer base/products and recommend with internal stakeholders for new products to introduce into the business.

- Analyse new streams of revenue to provide recommendations to our operations, contract management  and sales teams to increase margins and sales.

- Negotiate pricing support agreements with suppliers.

- Manage  the product & pricing reviews to compile customer catalogues.

This is a great opportunity to develop your current estimating/pricing or financial analytical skills, as you will be providing sound commercial insight and knowledge to account and contract managers  on a daily basis. Your ability at being able to get stuck in will work hand in hand with your excellent communication skills, as you will help us as a team to collaboratively support our customers within set deadlines.

Along with the above, you’ll also need:

• Excellent MS Excel and data analysis skills (data manipulation)

• Understanding of market prices
