Full Time - Mon- Fri 

At Travis Perkins, we are currently recruiting a Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow a strong and motivated team of Sales Representatives and Account Managers, ensuring that sales and profit opportunities are maximised and assigned to the collective ledgers of the team.

Key Accountabilities of the role. 
  • Effective recruitment, training, development and motivation of sales professionals.
  • Training and developing the sales team to maximise performance and deliver agreed financial targets. 
  • Ensure sales territories are organised to maximise the effectiveness of the sales team resource and to provide optimum coverage of the allocated customer base.
  • Proactively lead the development of customer specific action plans in conjunction with relevant team members and other appropriate colleagues.
  • Review and report upon sales, margin and team / individual specific key performance data, providing appropriate feedback and acting upon areas requiring improvement.
  • Actively call on sub-regional key customers, spending at least 75% of time in the field independently and with team.
  • Ensure all customers have an appropriate pricing arrangement and that CSA's are administered and authorised in line with company guidelines.

The ideal applicant should be a confident and well organised individual with great communication skills to maximise our selling opportunities. Good time management skills are essential in order to drive the business forward by improving performance and sales. Commercial awareness and the ability to interpret information will also be key along with previous Line Management experience.
