Are you looking for a brilliant opportunity to work for a great team? We have the chance to join our Supply Chain team as a Senior Business Analyst, who needs to clearly understand the business requirements and have the ability to influence the stakeholders aligned to the Business Case; working alongside the Business and Development Manager on the creation of the Statement of Work.
The Senior Business Analyst (SBA) has responsibility for very large or multiple initiatives and will liaise with a number of teams across IT. The Senior BA will provide support across a number of business brands at any point in time.
The SBA’s role is to ensure that the deliverables from IT align with the business expectations and are of sufficient quality to limit any further work from IT once the deliverable has been launched into the live environment.
The SBA will need to actively work with the business to clarify and define the lower level business requirements and associated artifacts and documentation including business process mapping and architectural support for the overall design. The SBA will be responsible for the delivery of the larger and more complex projects across the business and have line management responsibility for member of the team.
The role we're recruiting for
The SBAs will have a detailed technical focus, which allows them to act as the bridge between the Business and IT; translating complex business requirements into a SoW that supports the Business Case and can be further developed to create the level of detail needed for the IT teams to build the system.
The SBA must be able to coach the analytical skills amongst the IT team and with stakeholders to extract the information required from subject matter experts in order to produce detailed requirements and associated relevant documentation.
Produce, own and manage several sets of requirements and acceptance criteria across multiple initiatives and different areas of the business.
Liaise with Development Managers and IT teams to ensure they understand the requirements and are comfortable with what needs to be built / tested, providing a point of contact for on-going queries and clarifications as required.
Line Management responsibilities, pro-actively leading and developing teams as required. Taking the initiative to drive the project methodology and Agile approach across all deliverables in their remit. Be able to facilitate Agile training workshops across the business and IT where the need arises aligned to initiatives.
Actively review the high level requirements identified in the Business Case and pursue with the business to ensure that these requirements can be defined and remain aligned to the Business Case and supporting Statement of Work.
Engage with the relevant architects to ensure that the capabilities for the initiative remain feasible and we continue to develop a viable solution that will deliver true business benefit against the strategic IT and Business roadmaps.
Conduct and facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders across the Group as required to provide clarification as necessary against requirements, process flows and implementation / go-live support.
Ensure ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ process maps are produced for both Business and IT processes, ensuring that a plan is produced with the business to ensure these can be implemented across the business.
Lead, coach, manage and develop your team of BAs. Demonstrate role model behaviour in line with TP Group behaviours, leading people on the culture within IT.

It would be great if you have…
Have experience of business case drafting, writing, and modelling to support business investment themes
Clear and articulate language skills and outstanding written communication abilities
Be able to effectively run requirements workshops and information gathering
Gaining respect and creating a sense of confidence among IT and business stakeholders required a BA to speak with authority the dual languages of business and technology, and to demonstrate a strong technical aptitude
Previous experience supporting supply chain or WMS projects
