Senior Account Manager

This position is working within Travis Perkins in house design agency DPD. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be leading a team of Account Managers who are the first point of contract for marketing teams at DPD, managing multiple brands and stakeholder relationships. You will be responsible for the production and smooth delivery of a variety of marketing projects across creative, design, digital and print. Ensuring you and the team deliver the highest levels of customer service through clear consistent communication, compliance to budgets, briefs, SLAs, best practised process and regular feedback. You will have previous experience working within a creative agency environment.
Duties include:
To manage, develop and motivate an account management team who are the first point of contact for the customer.
Provide strong leadership and clear direction to the team in a positive and constructive manner. Ensure that team goals and objectives are understood, measured and delivered on time.
Attend and complete customer briefs, ensuring they are received and interpreted accurately, advise on timescales, providing accurate quotes before projects commence. Communicate briefs to the DPD studio and production teams to maximise efficiencies and provide a cost effective solution to the customer.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, deliver consistent high levels of customer service which is measured through customer feedback. Proactively use feedback to make future improvements. Spend 2-3 days per week on site at key client offices to maintain and develop the relationship.
Proactively make recommendations to the customer with solutions to projects. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to organically grow client accounts. Display a clear understanding of the brands competitor markets.
Manage creative, artwork, digital, print and mailing deadlines within the account team to deliver projects within agreed timescales.
