Senior Marketing Analyst / Marketing Data Analyst

Are you a strategic thinker, confident in challenging the status quo and be able to demonstrate your ability to read and translate marketing data? We are Travis Perkins P&H are currently recruiting for a Senior Marketing Analyst to join our Plumbing and Heating Division.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the development, implementation and management of all customer data and segmentation modelling across our Marketing and Multichannel. You’ll ensure that senior stakeholder are engaged clearly and continually demonstrating the commercial benefits of marketing spend and providing insight into customer behaviour.

Key accountabilities include:

• Develop, report and identify trends in customer trading behaviour, customer information and marketing activity on a regular basis.  Through KPI reports, sales analysis and customer analysis, you will aid businesses understanding and decision making on customers, identifying areas of concern and opportunity.

• Ensure the team supports with data the day to day data elements of direct marketing activity (mail, email, phone, sms).  Ensure these are produced to desired standards and delivered to appropriate team/agency to agreed deadlines.

• Report and analyse performance of direct marketing activity using appropriate tools.

• Challenge and evolve targeted customer selections to increase response rate and drive sales.

• Protection Legislation and ensure that customer data is handled in a secure and legal manner.

• To be the lead analyst in the Campaign Analytics function within Marketing in the definition, implementation, delivery, monitoring and optimisation of the customer journey for Co-Branded accounts throughout the customer lifecycle; increasing customer-product engagement and maximising ROI through data.

• Ownership of analytical projects and client relationships (internal & external)

• This role will require extensive knowledge and usage of SAS and analytical techniques to deliver and enhance multiple daily selections and analysis

• Digitisation of campaign process would be a critical requirement

To be considered for this role, it would be great if you had:

• Proven experience in a marketing/CRM analyst role

• Confident of working with a Sales Reporting Software

• Advanced Excel skills & comfortable with manipulating large forms of data.
