Job Description

Joining TF Solutions as a Senior Procurement Manager you will be responsible for sourcing products and services as well as managing and developing our suppliers. You will undertake strategic and operational procurement activities across all categories of spend and continuously improve our deals and own brand opportunities (always seeking the most profitable solutions) to help us expand and develop our customer proposition as we grow the business. 

This will include:
  • Develop, lead and roll out purchasing and supply strategies
  • Implement and report on KPI’s to reduce costs (purchase price, logistics cost – transport and storage, processing cost) and improve effectiveness / efficiency
  • Implement negotiation strategies and close deals with improved and optimised terms
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand and adjust stock and order quantities accordingly.
  • Manage and strengthen supplier relationships and lead supplier review meetings
  • Seek and partner with future reliable suppliers 
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify opportunities and threats for our operations
What we are looking for
You will be someone who is CIPS qualified and ideally has proven experience in a similar role. You will have B2B knowledge and be both commercially and financially astute. It would be ideal but not essential if you have some industry knowledge.

You will have excellent negotiation, networking, judgement and analytical skills and be able to demonstrate strong leadership and decision making skills. You will be a real team player, with an ability to run multiple projects simultaneously. You will have an interest in market dynamics to support business development and be willing to travel to source and identify new products.

Working from home you can be based anywhere in the UK as long as you are flexible and willing to travel to meet up with suppliers, and visit our branches and colleagues as required.
