At Primaflow Birmingham we have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Manager. Join our fast paced business and friendly team, where we work hard to simply delivering more for our customers and colleagues. 

The role we're recruiting for:
In this key role you will manage the service, safety, engagement and productivity of the shift.  Working with the other Shift Managers and Operations Manager to plan the right level of resource, to pick and despatch orders accurately, so that we delight our customers every time.

You will be responsible for; 
  • Measuring performance and setting targets, to ensure that product is picked efficiently and accurately.
  • Making stay safe part of colleagues roles every day, minimising and highlighting risk and driving safety improvements. 
  • Communicating key performance measures and activity priorities to the team.
  • Improving the performance of the team through coaching and training and supporting colleagues longer term development. 
  • Managing the cost of both people and resource utilised within the operation.
It would be great if you had:
Previous experience of successfully improving performance and leading a motivated warehouse team.  Numeracy and data analysis will be required for forecasting demand and analysing performance trends. You will also have excellent communication and coaching skills.
