We, at Travis Perkins plc have an exciting, new pivotal role for a Supply Chain Systems Manager within our Plumbing and Heating (P&H) Division. This role will lead the optimisation of both Branch and Distribution Ordering Systems. It is a highly specialist/technical role but also requires the person to be able to engage and influence colleagues on best practice.

Alongside the above you will also be responsible for:

• Identifying, recommending and implementing macro & micro ordering system parameter changes to optimise the service and stock holding in Primary Distribution Hub (using JDA).

• Identifying, recommending and implementing macro & micro branch ordering system parameter changes to optimise the service and stock holding in Branches whilst not negatively impacting costs.  

• Manage Seasonality at the  macro level in both the Branch & Distribution Centre ordering systems.

• Train and engage the Central Planners to enhance their technical JDA planning skills.

• Create the strategy for future Supply systems requirements and work with stakeholders & IT to build appropriate business cases
  
  

What we’re looking for:

You will have previous experience within Supply Chain Systems roles, and have a financial understanding and awareness of impact of Supply Chain impacts on P&L.
