Job Description

We, at Travis Perkins, have a number of brilliant opportunities for experienced Territory Managers/Business Development Executives to join our collaborative and thriving sales team based in London. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of agreed growth targets for a group of pre-selected customers.


Utilising your stakeholder management skills you will work closely with local branches, sales offices and other support functions to develop appropriate strategies to capture available Yard and Direct spend across all relevant product ranges. You will be working hard to form good working relationships with the sales personnel of key suppliers jointly focussing upon agreed target customers and projects.


Alongside the above you will also be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a contact strategy, blending face to face sales representation with account management building relationships with all relevant decision makers.

  • Ensuring that each customer has a regularly reviewed and meaningful business development plan in place to develop sales in all relevant product areas.

  • Negotiating, monitoring and managing an appropriate pricing structure, focussing upon profitable sales growth and product mix. Utilising available pricing mechanisms, including Contract CSAs, and where applicable, annual rebate incentives.  

  • Developing sales of pre determines key customer types such as  developing regional developer accounts and shopfitter working on a national basis.

  • Following leads generated by the planning portal and building sales opportunities/passing sales to appropriate channel in order to deliver roi on our investment and develop untapped sales potential.
