Warehouse Operative

Tile Giant are recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives for their 100,000 sq ft Distribution Centre at Fradley Park, Lichfield.

Established in 2003, Tile Giant is the fastest growing tile specialist in the UK with an expanding network of over 300 stores and outlets. Our Lichfield site operates 2 fixed shift patterns (06:00 to 14:00 Mon-Fridays or 14:00 to 22:00 Sun-Thursdays) to distribute our globally sourced tile ranges and products to our 110 stores and manage e-commerce fulfilment to customers nationwide.

As a Warehouse Operative you will

• Undertake all warehouse duties as assigned by the Shift Team Leader and/or First Line Manager - will include goods in, check in, replenishment, picking, packing and loading - ensuring the correct documentation is utilised

• Work within company security and health & safety procedures to safeguard stock, equipment and colleagues.

• Operate Mechanical Handling Equipment, once trained to do so safely and to company standards, ensuring daily equipment checks are completed and faults reported

• Follow the principles of good housekeeping including cleaning duties and the sorting of loose site equipment

• Participate in stocktaking as required

• Self motivation, confidence and enthusiasm with a personal drive to achieve set targets and advocate continuous improvement

• Previous experience is NOT required as full training will be given

Please note, this role will include the manual lifting and handling of our tiles and products
