Warehouse Operative

The role

You’ll be working in a warehouse environment on a fixed shift basis with no weekends or bank holiday shifts (our shifts run 6am-2pm, 12pm-8pm and 2pm-10pm). Duties will include goods in, check in, replenishment, picking, packing, loading, participation in stock takes and housekeeping all whilst utilising appropriate documentation and equipment. The use of Mechanical Handling Equipment (and some manual lifting) will be involved and as such you will need the ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism towards safety.

The role offers variety and you’ll become multiskilled to be able to work across the distribution centre. We’ll cover the cost of any licenses you’ll need too.

What we are looking for

Essentially, we’re looking for team players. You’ll need to be comfortable with the physical work and be able to work at pace with accuracy too.

Ideally, you’ll have experience of working in a warehouse environment but if you’re looking to begin a career, we’d like to speak to you.

You should be a good communicator, have good timekeeping skills and be able to work well in a diverse team.
