Warehouse Sales Assistant - YARD (New Branch Aintree)

Do you enjoy working as part of a team, do you like helping people, and don’t mind working outside, then we may have the role for you, a Warehouse Sales Assistant in our Yard.  You don't need to come from our sector or even know our products, as long as you have the ability to provide great customer service, we will support you with a great on-boarding experience and encourage you onto our TP development scheme. 

Our opening hours are - Monday - Friday 7am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-4pm (working 2 in 4 Saturdays).  We have a couple of positions available, both part time and full time hours.  For part time hours you will work 25 hours flex, these hours are to suit you and your lifestyle.  Full time is 44.5 hours per week. - hours can be discussed at interview stage.

You will be joining our business and supporting the opening of our new Flagship branch in Aintree.  With a potential open date at the end of the year 2021, but we would love for you to start now, so that we can provide a great induction.  Our Aintree branch will be located in a prime location in the middle of KeyPoint. You will be part of a newly recruited team of around 22, the branch will also have a full Tool Hire with 6 delivery vehicles.

As a Warehouse Sales Assistant in our Yard, what will I be doing?

No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, but here are a few pointers:

• If you are 18yrs or over, you will be driving a forklift, but don't worry full training is provided

• As part of the Yard Sales team, you will be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our yard.  

• Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis.

• We will provide you with the right clothing as you will be based outside, processing our customer orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.

• You will also unload our building products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them in the branch warehouse.
