What jobs are available in our finance teams?

If you join us as an analyst after University, for example, we’ll pay for your training to become a qualified accountant whilst on our 3-year graduate scheme. Colleagues that choose this route have the opportunity to work whilst studying towards level 7 accountancy qualification (ACCA or CIMA) enabling them to learn whilst they earn.
Gain experience across multiple divisions within our Group
At Travis Perkins, we have finance roles available at the wider Group level, but also within each business and division. This gives our colleagues the opportunity to move around to different departments and work on varying projects to gain experience. For example, at the Group level, you might be involved in acquisitions, mergers or demergers, or within one of our businesses, you might be responsible for setting annual budgets.
One colleague, for example, started in a branch as an HGV driver, progressed to our planning team looking at statistical analysis, and has since moved onto our finance team studying for CIMA qualification. His knowledge of our branches, supply chains and day-to-day business enables him to successfully put data into real-world thinking.

We’ve found that our teams enjoy the flexibility of not having to always travel into the office or out to clients.
