Accountabilities.
As a Finance Manager for Keyline, you will be responsible for providing accurate reporting as well as forecasting, budgeting and supporting the strategic planning process. The role is key in supporting and challenging the business, providing business insight and KPI analysis to drive well informed business decisions. The role will work with senior stakeholders in the business as well as be responsible for working closely with the wider Travis Perkins Group finance team.
As a Finance Manager for our continuingly growing business, you will:
Deliver month end for the Keyline business to provide accurate reporting to the whole business as well branch managers, regional leadership and sales teams to include identification and resolution of any anomalies.
Work with the Finance Director to articulate the financial performance of the business on a monthly basis.
Support with measuring the overall business, sub regional, and branch performance against its strategic objectives and a range of key KPIs.
Continue to look for opportunities to improve financial effectiveness and efficiency to maximise time spent on insight and opportunities to add value.
Run the budgeting and forecasting process for the business as well as supporting the strategic planning process.
Ensure a number of key controls are in place including balance sheet reconciliations. Manage Financial reporting including CAPEX, Stock Reporting etc.
Build a network of stakeholders throughout the business and act as a partner to the business.
Who we are looking for.
Recognised Accountancy qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
A minimum of 4 years leading month end finance functions.
Experience of strategic planning; supporting a business to identify strategic opportunities.
Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills.
Ability to interpret data into action orientated insight.
Proficiency to manage conflicting priorities.
Strong commercial thought process.
Awareness of external impacts on the business.
Highly developed communication skills.
