- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping shop floors and offices
- Cleaning, stocking and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, emptying bins, servicing bathrooms and wiping down communal surfaces)
- Tackle heavy cleaning jobs upon request
- Ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris
- Notify management of any building repairs required
- Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately
- Safety is a priority and you’ll make sure that standards never slip
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
- Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods
- Isn’t afraid of going the extra mile
- Attention to detail and delivering a consistently high level of service
- Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
