CMS Operator - Reactive Monitoring
£Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits

Location: Northampton

20 Hours P/W (Monday - Friday 7:00 - 11:00)


Ever wondered how Travis Perkins manage over 2000 locations nationwide for security and alarm queries? That's where you come in, as a CMS Operator in our Central Monitoring Station team based in Northampton. You’ll provide excellent customer service and front line support to branch managers/third parties with by monitoring CCTV & Intruder alarms, ensuring incidents are managed/reported within a timely manner.


Joining a dedicated team of 35, you’ll act as the primary point of contact for our sites, giving exceptional customer service with regards to enquiries, data requests and scheduled security tasks. You’ll then work with our branches to ensure all alarm activation's are handled within a prompt manner and at times, liaise with third parties (installation engineers, regional security investigator's and Police) in order to ensure a smooth delivery of service from the Monitoring Station. Along with this, you will utilise your excellent time management and organisational skills on a daily basis, as you will record all alarm and CCTV investigations by completing our internal documentation and ensuring we maintain accurate records.


We’re not asking for you to have worked within a similar role previously but you’ll need to bring your excellent customer service skills and a good knowledge of MS Office. You’re ability to react quickly and ability to take ownership of queries, will be key to ensure we provide a successful service to both our colleagues/branches and our own business strategy.

Along with the above, you’ll also have:

You will be numerate and literate, have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to demonstrate concentration for long periods and have good eyesight (aided or unaided).
