Graduate Bid Writer
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Bid Writer to join our Managed Services team based at our office in Northampton. If you have a passion for creative writing and looking for a lucrative career with the scope to develop professionally, we have the role for you.
What you’ll do
Our Travis Perkins Managed Services team design and deliver service-led supply chain contract solutions for clients that are based on delivering efficiency and productivity gains within their repair and maintenance functions.
As a Graduate Bid Writer, you will be responsible for creating and managing the content and submission of bids for new managed services opportunities and re-tenders nationally. You will work collaboratively alongside the Bid Manager to ensure correct commercial decisions are made, communicating information across the team and wider Travis Perkins Group.
Along with the above, you will also get involved in -
Develop bid strategies for re-tenders, new tenders, and supply-only initiatives
Creative and innovative writing in respect to the format and content of MS bids
Coordinate the dissemination of best practices throughout MS bids
Ensure best practice initiatives with MS clients are being recorded in a format for re-tenders including evidencing product, pricing, service, IT, community initiatives
Manage submissions by supporting relevant stakeholders in order to design and produce the bid documentation to meet client needs
Is this you?
To be successful in this role you will need to have a degree in any discipline, be ambitious, and have the willingness to learn. You will have solid interpersonal and communication skills and excellent attention to detail. You will also have the ability to think clearly using logic and reasoning along with strong time management/prioritisation skills.
