Job Description

Are you a fantastic communicator with excellent customer service skills who has the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team? We’re on the lookout for an experienced, commercially minded and creative Key Account Manager to join Keyline covering Devon and Cornwall.

What you’ll do
You will look after the sales of civil, drainage and heavy building materials for a number of Key Accounts in your sales area. Having close involvement with your designated branches, you will operate within your own defined territory, maximising sales at every opportunity and expanding our customer base by identifying and developing new accounts. You will also work closely with the two Sales Offices who will be a central contact for your customers.

The successful candidate will ideally have:
  • Proven ability to manage a number of large key customers and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • It would be beneficial if you have knowledge of civils and drainage products - but product training will be provided.
  • Strong abilities in understanding customer objectives in order to develop successful strategic plans.
  • Experience in identifying new sales opportunities and creating solutions for customers to deliver long term profitable sales growth for both parties.
