What you'll do
Working mostly from home with travel to your local hub and Northampton
Hiring the very best retail talent to achieve our winning priorities and to delight our customers is what we are all about in the Recruitment Team. You’ll join our highly visible and influential team, screening and interviewing candidates, informing them of everything that is great about working for us and engaging them in every step of their recruitment journey.
Day-to-day
Delivering great service. Whether it’s making sure all our candidates receive a great experience from application to outcome, or bending over backwards to make sure our stores are recruited– second to none service is essential.
Mucking in. Helping the team get the job done. We each specialise in our own areas, but we’re one team and we work together to fill our jobs with the right people at the right time. This means that you could be asked to help out the rest of the team when they’re up against it, giving you a broader insight into how our business works.
Communicating. The MOST important thing. Constant communication, with the team, your hiring managers, candidates and other teams – keeping people informed and managing expectations is what makes us great at what we do.
Asking questions and building relationships. You’ll be booking people in for interviews, conducting phone interviews and answering questions. With all of these things great relationships are key.
Supporting. We’ve got a lot to do! It’s busy, really busy, and fast, really fast! You’ll be guided by the Recruitment Manager as to what you need to prioritise for them to help us to keep the phenomenal level of service our business expects.
What you'll bring
Experience in a high volume, fast paced retail recruitment role would be preferred but equally you might be an experienced retailer used to recruiting into your own team. What's most important is that you have the following qualities in abundance:
Hard work and passion. Be dedicated to recruiting the very best people into our business and believe in what we do.
A love of team work. Be happy to muck in and get your hands dirty, and passionate working together to get the job done.
Customer Focus. Ensure that candidate experience and amazing service remains at the heart of everything you do.
Resilience. Have relentless determination to achieve results whatever the challenges. You’re incredibly organised, and love being up against it – busy is where you’re most happy! And be prepared to lift every stone to find the best candidates...they are sometimes hiding in unusual places.
Flexibility. Be there when your team need you, understand priorities and plan effectively.
