Are you a Facilities Manager based within the South East? Are you self motivated, with excellent people skills and a great team player? Travis Perkins have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Facilities Manager position to join their dedicated Facilities team.
This role is home based but the majority of your week will involve regular travel to the branches in your region
What you’ll do
Manage the day to day relationships with group wide colleagues within a large geographical region, taking ownership of hard and soft FM suppliers, ensuring contract and statutory compliance, delivering cost savings and performance objectives.
Principal Accountabilities
Managing hard and soft services across a portfolio of c200 sites
Work with branch colleagues, ROMs & RD’s to ensure FM service is maintained to agreed standards & is in line with group policies and procedures.
Be the main point of contact between the FM team & branches within your region. This includes ‘out of hours’, being on call and responding/managing incidents/DR and escalations arising from the helpdesk.
Lead in delivering proactive Supplier Relationship Management, including indirect line management of between 40 and 50 supplier account managers.
Develop and undertake supplier and building audits, compile asset condition reports to inform Planned Preventative Maintenance regimes and influence the Forward Maintenance Register for future capital planning.
Manage all aspects of revenue, capital and project budget including accruals, aged debt, queries and escalation and demonstrate value for money via monthly financial reporting.
Management of high risk works e.g work at height ensuring compliance with group policies and procedures
What you’ll need to have:
Be able to collate, interpret and interrogate detailed operational management information into transparent commercial conclusions and recommendations.
Always providing first class customer service skills.
Proven supplier and contact management with negotiation experience
A degree or similar experience in property or facilities management
Ability to manage large and complex budgets including future capital expenditure programmes
Comfortable reading contracts in relation to cost modelling and SLA’s and have the ability to work with TP group teams to agree variations to contracts for goods and services
Able to analyse and present large amounts of financial data with attention to detail and effectively communicate these at all levels to influence change
