Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Senior Data Administrator who will report into the Data Operations Team Manager. The Senior Data Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance of the quality of data for the Group. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with multiple systems, interrogating data and identifying anomalies is key to success in this role.

The purpose of the role will be to manage and execute product data change requests for product and supplier data as requested through the Business Units and department functions ensuring a professional and robust service.  

You'll need to demonstrate the ability to work in a timely and efficient manner whilst building the reputation of the Department as a Centre of Excellence delivering changes accurately and efficiently.

Main Duties:

*Help ensure that data coming into the department is checked for accuracy, and all queries answered before updates are made effective.

*Ensuring tasks carried out in the department are complete in a timely & efficient manner maintaining the highest level of accuracy possible

*To ensure adherence to the audited procedures for product information update and maintenance.

*Provide support and advice to other Data Administrators with regard to the many and varied tasks that arise.

*Update and maintain product information and other commercial data accurately and on time, as required and authorised by the Procurement Teams.

*Help ensure that product data is set up and maintained consistently both across and within brands.

*Continually challenge existing processes and systems to deliver a more efficient and profitable operation.


Difficulties and Demands of the Role

*The systems, procedures and data sets are complex, requiring high attention to detail in conjunction with a robust, pragmatic and results driven approach

*This role requires the ability to work with initiative, applying good logic to problem solving.

*Ability to communicate across all levels of the Business ensuring all Business units understand Data Management priorities & plans    *Actively seek and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies across the Department & Group
