What you'll do
Store Opening Manager
Taking the next step in your Store Manager career, you’ll coach and instil all best practices learnt throughout your experiences so far. You'll set up, train and competently run each new store over a 5 week period to ensure they have the very best start! You may also support and coach some of our existing stores for some additional training! You may also support and coach some of our existing stores for some additional training! This’ll put all of your expertise to a great use and the rewards are endless! This role is a field base which does require you to be away from home 5 days a week.
Day to Day
Mucking in. Helping the new store get set up and setting the new team up for a great start ahead of its successful journey.
Inspiring. Encouraging a positive mindset, building a culture of feedback, praise and recognition.
Leading. From the front, coaching, motivating and engaging the team to ensure they continue to create a great place to work where engagement is key.
Building a fun working environment. Training the team in Toolstation people and process. Maintaining our great product availability and high branch standards, while making sure that the branch is somewhere everyone loves coming to work.
Building relationships. Making sure you build great relationships with the specific RM giving honest and constructive feedback on teams trained.
