Travis Perkins plc are seeking 3 x Tool Hire Safety Assurance Auditors to join their expanding team!
Each role will cover a geographical area in the UK:
Scotland/ Northern areas
Midlands
South East/ West of the UK
What will you do?
To provide independent assurance of workshop and asset safety within Tool Hire operations across the Travis Perkins Group, this will be completed by performing safety and compliance reviews of Tool Hire workshop branches and providing in the moment coaching and support
Some accountabilities of the role:
To execute Tool Hire Safety & Compliance Reviews as determined by the Group’s Safety Assurance Strategy.
To issue Tool Hire Safety & Compliance Reviews, communicate and influence effectively with key stakeholders over the issues identified in the review.
To provide the necessary coaching ‘in the moment’ in order to ensure the identified issues can be resolved immediately.
Support Hire Operations in the investigation process for plant tips, asset A defects and PNAs. Support in any process deviations and supporting line managers to ensure that the Just Culture principles are correctly applied.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with management across different brands within the Group, ensuring that a proactive professional approach is conveyed at all times.
To support in HSE Improvement projects within Group Hire
What you’ll need to have:
Full driving licence as a company vehicle is provided (EBS)
Experience within a Tool Hire business
Working within a multi site business
Excellent communicator in both written and oral
Strong observational skills
The ability to manage conflict effectively
Pragmatic in approach and solutions generated
Able to organise own time to achieve targets/goals
Compliance knowledge in a Tool Hire business
Computer literate in Google or Office applications
Strong influencer
Engaging style with a good ability to manage conflict
Delivering impact
