Looking to start your career but don't know where to look? Do you enjoy working as part of a team, do you like helping people, then we may have the role for you, a Van Driver / Showroom Assistant.  You don't need to come from our sector or even know our products, as long as you have the ability to provide great customer service, we will support you with a great onboarding experience. 

 A Showroom Assistant / Van Driver in our  branch  in Middlesborough, this is a great branch to really understand how Travis Perkins branches operate and you don't need to come from our sector or know our products.

Opening Hours - Monday - Friday 6am - 6pm  - We are looking for someone to work 25 hours a week with the abilty to increase these, which can be discussed at interview stage.

What will I be doing?
  • No one day is the same as the next in branch life with Travis Perkins, but with your new found product knowledge and onboarding, here are a few pointers:
  • Candidates need to be 18yrs or over and have at least 18 months of driving experience

  • Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times.

Who are we looking for?
  • You’ll have a great worth ethic, be a team player and work closely with your branch colleagues to get the job done 
  • You’ll be physically active, this role may involve lifting heavy materials and use of manual handling equipment, such as forklift
  • You’ll have friendly and outgoing personality, someone that is happy to communicate face to face with customers and build strong relationships
  • Someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment that has a thirst for learning
A full UK driving licence is essential for this position.
