Warehouse Shift Manager
What you'll do
You’ll be key to ensuring that your shift is sufficiently covered, whilst driving motivation and positive change. You will have up to 7 team leaders and over 100 colleagues on the shift and be solely responsible for the whole DC operation during your shift. Your leadership will ensure that the shift safely maximises productivity and accuracy but instrumentally, you will foster a great team culture where health and safety is the top priority and our colleagues enjoy their work and can bring their best selves every day.
Customer Focus: You'll keep the customer at the forefront of what we do, recommending & initiating improvement plans where appropriate, communicating regularly and appropriately with transport and other departments representatives both on/off site. You will contribute to the preparation of information for business commercial review meetings, ensuring you understand customer pain points and identify improvement opportunities.
What you'll bring

Minimum 2 years of experience in large-scale logistics and inventory management.

Sound knowledge of warehouse/distribution centre operations in a fast paced business

Proven ability to cope under pressure and make business critical decisions

An accomplished leader and natural coach who commands respect, collaboration and fosters a great culture

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage a large, multi-disciplinary workforce

Sound analytical and strong IT skills
